The Mont Piton residential estate project joins the Gloss portfolio after being won against two other well-known agencies in Mauritius. It is the flagship project of Alteo, a leading regional group in and around the Indian Ocean with well-established dealings in the sugar, energy and property sectors. After a successful phase 1, Alteo launched Mont Piton phase 2 last September with a fully-fledged marketing campaign to sell around 125 spacious serviced plots of land priced from MUR 4.9 million.
Prior to this for well over a year, the Gloss team has been working on this campaign around the table with the client, the sales team from Seeff estate agent, Urban Architect as well as the landscaper Planning Partners International based in South Africa. This allowed them to understand and consider every single aspect of the project in order to establish the right concept, logo and branding.
From there, the concept took shape with various marketing materials and platforms being developed, such as the project’s brochure, a corporate video including an on-site shoot, the website, the social media pages, Google Ads banners, public reportages and billboard artworks.
Mont Piton’s phase 2 campaign included both online and offline media. It ran for four months until December 2020, starting with a brand awareness campaign followed by a product campaign afterwards. The marketing campaign was a success with more than 60% of sales achieved, allowing Mont Piton the pleasure of announcing the start of infrastructure works in January 2020 with delivery due in 2021.
The campaign carried on for another 3 months from January until the end of March 2021 when sales rose further until only around 10 plots of land remained to be sold. After the lockdown in April, the marketing campaign is scheduled to resume in June to sell the remaining few plots.
